Course Overview
WHAT IS NATA?
NATA is a national-level entrance exam conducted by COA (Council of Architecture) for admission to 5-year B. Arch (Bachelor of Architecture) programs across India (excluding IITs, NITs, and SPAs which accept JEE Main Paper 2).
WHO CAN APPLY?
Indian nationals, as well as Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), are eligible to apply.
- Qualification:
Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) OR 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics. Candidates who are appearing for their qualifying examination in the current year are also eligible to apply, but they must submit proof of passing during the time of admission. - Minimum Marks:
50% aggregate in PCM and 50% overall in 10+2 or diploma. - Age Limit:
No age restriction as per COA.

Approximately, 30000 candidates register every year for NATA (figures may vary).
SEAT AVAILABILITY
To find seat availability, check the participating institutes and their seat intake, which can vary by state and college (For example, Karnataka has a large number of colleges participating in NATA with a total seat intake of 2690, while Kerala has 31 colleges with a seat intake of 1640). This information can be found on the official NATA website.
COLLEGES ACCEPTING NATA
All COA-approved colleges in India (e.g., SPA Bhopal/Vijayawada, CEPT Ahmedabad, SRM, Manipal, JJ College of Architecture, etc.).Check the college’s own cutoffs and admission process (some states have centralized counselling).
