WHAT IS CUET (UG) IN MATHS?

CUET (UG) Maths is an entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate courses in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics in Central, State, Private, and Deemed universities across India. CUET (Maths) gives eligibility to pursue any of these - B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics, B.Sc. (Hons.) Computer Science, B.Sc. (Hons.) Statistics, B.Sc. Physical Sciences, B.Sc. Data Science, B.Sc. (Hons.) Economics, Integrated B.Sc.-M.Sc. Programs.

WHO CAN APPLY

The candidate must have passed or be appearing in Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board. You must have studied subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Maths in 10+2.

• Minimum Marks:
  Most universities require a minimum of 50% – 60% marks in Class 12 for science programs. (Varies by university)

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :

• Nationality:
  Must be an Indian citizen or fulfill NTA’s eligibility norms.
• Age Limit:
  No upper age limit as per NTA. However, check specific university rules if applicable.

Around 15 lakh students apply for CUET (UG) every year.

SEAT AVAILABILITY

Over 3 lakh undergraduate seats are available across all CUET-participating universities.
Delhi University alone offers approximately 70,000–79,000 seats in UG programs acrossall streams.
