Course Overview
WHAT IS JEE ?
EE (Joint Entrance Examination) is a national-level engineering entrance exam conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) in two stages:
- JEE Main – For admission to NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, and eligibility test for JEE Advanced.
- JEE Advanced – For admission to IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology) and some prestigious research institutes like IISc and IISERs.
WHO CAN APPLY
Indian Nationals, NRIs, PIOs, OCIs and Foreign nationals who are 12th pass (or appearing) with PCM as domain subjects.
No age limit for JEE Main
Max attempts: 3 consecutive years

SEAT AVAILABILITY
According to 2024 approximately 57,157 seats were available across various institutions including NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. Slight increase in the official seats is expected in the coming years.
