Course Overview
WHAT IS BITSAT?
BITSAT stands for Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test. It’s a university-level, computer-based entrance exam conducted by BITS Pilani for admission to its integrated first-degree programs—including BE, BPharm, and M.Sc.—across its campuses in Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad, and Dubai. It requires strong preparation in science, math, reasoning, and English, and it's highly competitive with tens of thousands of applicants each year.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must have passed Class 12 (2024/2025) with ≥75% aggregate in PCM (for BE) or PCB (for BPharm/M. Sc) and ≥60% in each subject. International applicants can apply without BITSAT under the International Student Admissions Scheme (ISA) using SAT scores (not applicable for Indian Passport holders).
APPLICANTS COUNT
Roughly 300,000 applicants compete annually for the exam, making it one of India's most competitive engineering entrance exams.
